Engineering Council

Incorporated Engineers fulfil vital functions across all engineering sectors. The sample role profiles listed on this page have been provided by employers to assist others in clarifying the type of role in which an engineer registered as an IEng might work.  They are designed to complement the IEng case studies that can be found here. 

Please note that these role profiles are intended to be used as a guide only.  Roles, areas of responsibility, required qualifications, experience and competence will vary depending on the employer and industry.
