Higher Education Institutions are advised to make early contact with professional engineering institutions or the Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB) secretariat if interested in accreditation of their engineering degrees.

The EAB can arrange joint visits for three or more professional engineering institutions to review one or more related programmes for accreditation. It is suggested that requests for EAB visits be made a minimum of 18 months to two years in advance of a proposed visit.
