The Engineering Council’s Professional Standards team are in the process of developing a policy on recognition of higher apprenticeships (level 4 and above), reviewing the potential conflict between degree accreditation and recognition of degree apprenticeships.

Current processes permit institutions to consider degrees that sit within degree apprenticeships, for accreditation.
