The Engineering Council is currently undertaking its five-yearly review of its Standards, including those relevant to accreditation and approval. As part of this consultation we will shortly be looking for feedback on the draft Accreditation of Higher Education Programmes (AHEP) 4^th edition and the draft Accreditation and Approval of Qualifications and Apprenticeships Handbook (AAQAH).  

As part of this second phase of consultation, we are keen to receive feedback on AHEP from all Engineering Departments, and on AAQAH from those involved with higher apprenticeships, including degree apprenticeships.

This consultation will include an online survey which will be open to the public shortly and will close on 2 August. Information about this consultation will be circulated in the near future.

There are also plans for an event at Middlesex University on 24 July, which will be another opportunity to provide feedback on this review. Details will be shared shortly, but if you are interested in attending please save the date.
