Institutions are reminded that all accreditation visits from September 2019 will include the updated Engineering Council policy on compensation and condonement, as announced in December 2018.

From September 2019, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will be required to create a plan ensuring their regulations conform to the new rules by September 2022. Programmes reviewed on visits from September 2022 will not be accredited if the HEI regulations are not up to date with the rules on compensation and condonement.
