At the request of the Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB), a workshop on accreditation was held on 25 September, at the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).  The purpose of the workshop was to gather views to inform an upcoming review of Accreditation of Higher Education Programmes (AHEP).  The workshop was attended by a mix of registered engineers from academia and industry, with professional engineering institution staff and additional representation from the Engineering Professors Council and Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng). 

It is anticipated that a majority of the work on the review of AHEP and associated documents will be completed during 2018. Stakeholders of the engineering academic community will be invited to respond to consultations during the review.
