Published: 27/09/2016
The Engineering Council has published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2015 along with a short Annual Review document that highlights the organisation’s key achievements and activities during the year. Both documents are available to view on the website at www.engc.org.uk/annualreport
The Annual Report outlines the Engineering Council’s performance against its strategic plan during 2015. It gives details on how it operates and the people involved. It also provides a summary of registration statistics for 2015 and details of the organisation’s financial statements for the year.
Jon Prichard, Engineering Council CEO, said: “We continued to work closely with our partners, Trustees and large number of volunteers and are pleased to report that 2015 was a busy and productive year for the Engineering Council. Our Annual Report gives an overview of the organisation’s activities across the key tasks outlined in our strategic plan, including professional development, technicians and our international work, as well as our core business operations. Our success would not have been possible without the significant commitment from the Board, the Executive Team and Engineering Council staff that consistently deliver a high volume of work.”
Rear Admiral Nigel Guild CB CEng FIET FIMarEST MIMA FREng, Engineering Council Chairman, added: “At a time when the engineering community is pulling together to tackle demand for engineering skills and address the low number of women in the profession, it is more important than ever that the Engineering Council delivers on its vision: that society continues to have confidence and trust in the engineering profession.”
