The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) have launched the Engineering & Technology Photographer of the Year Competition for 2019.
With a top prize of £500, the competition wants to change the way we think about engineering and engineers, by moving away from images of hard hats and high-vis vests and championing the creativity and excitement that inspires today’s engineers.
The competition is open internationally and split into two age groups, ‘Junior – 16 and under’ and ‘Adult – over 17’. The five categories are Design and Production, Digital, Environment and Energy, Structure and Transport.
Entry forms and details of previous winners are available on the competition website.
