Engineering Council speakers feature at the EPC Congress

Published: 13/05/2019

The Engineering Professors’ Council (EPC) Annual Congress is taking place from 13-15 May at University College London. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Engineering change: Surviving and shaping the policy environment’ and the event aims to help attendees navigate “unprecedented engineering change”.

Two of this year’s speakers are representing the Engineering Council, with our Chairman Professor Chris Atkin CEng FRAeS FREng taking part in a panel on ‘Accreditation – Supporting Change in Engineering Education?’.  Katy Turff, Head of Professional Standards at the Engineering Council, will discuss the review of existing registration structures which is currently underway in her session ‘Recognising Engineers’.

As part of the Congress, Lord Willetts (former Minister for Universities and Science) will give a public lecture titled ‘A University Education: Engineering Changes’.

Further details and booking information can be found on the conference website.
