New Chairman for EATQ Forum

The Engineering Apprenticeship and Technician Qualifications (EATQ) Forum, established by the Engineering Council, welcomed a new Chair in March 2016. Board Member Colonel Martin Court, who served for over 30 years with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and is now employed by Jacobs Engineering, has taken over the Chair. He succeeds Jean Venables CBE, past President of the Institution of Civil Engineers, who has been EATQ Chair since the Forum’s first meeting in July 2013.
EATQ has become a well-established forum for all institutions licensed to assess members for professional registration as EngTech and ICTTech. Its focus is to share good practice that leads to consistent and transparent approval processes.
