After four very busy years running the Policy and Standards team at the Engineering Council, Deborah Seddon has decided to move to a part time role, which will allow her to continue leading some of the organisation’s key learning and development projects, whilst also freeing up her diary for domestic projects and travel.

Katy Turff, who is currently Head of International at the Engineering Council, has accepted a new role to lead both the Policy and Standards function as well as continue with her international work. To help her with this, a new International Affairs Manager is being recruited. These changes will take effect on 1 June, from which time Katy’s new job title will be Head of Professional Standards.
