Standards review consultation summary
Published: 06/03/2019
During 2018, the Engineering Council undertook a public consultation as part of its five-yearly Standards Review. The review is carried out to ensure that the Standards (including the requirements for registration as a professional engineer or technician) remain fit-for-purpose as engineering and the wider world changes.
The consultation was promoted as widely as possible, with the aim of encouraging responses from anyone, or any group, who has an interest in the Standards or how they work. Following the close of this consultation in late 2018, responses have been analysed and key areas for attention identified.
A summary of responses to the consultation is now available to view.
