Professional Affiliates are incorporated bodies or engineering institutions that are closely associated with the Engineering Council but are not licensed to assess their members for professional registration. Affiliation recognises the Affiliate’s contribution to its fields of expertise and the value of Affiliation includes the opportunity to offer professional registration to members through an agreement with an existing licensed professional engineering institution. Staff and members of Affiliates also gain access to information through the Engineering Council Extranet, networks and annual seminars. Several Professional Affiliates have progressed to Licensed Member status. More details on the Engineering Council’s Professional Affiliates is available by clicking here
