Oman Professional Engineers Network

A group of professionals residing in Oman, including five Engineering Council registrants, have founded the Oman Professional Engineers Network (OPEN) and are looking for more local professionals to join. The Network’s overall objective is to bring together members of UK professional engineering institutions who are living in Oman. The group has been established under the umbrella of the Oman Society of Engineers (OSE), which works to advance engineering knowledge, promote the engineering profession and support young engineers in their professional development and achievement of recognised professional qualifications.
The Network welcomes all engineers, architects and quantity surveyors living in Oman to join, whether they are registered yet or not. Founding members include Matthew Bishop CEng MIChemE, Scott Blackhurst CEng FIStructE MICE, Sadiq Muscati CEng FICE, Tahseen Rafik CEng MIET, Adaan Shaaban MRICS, Joseph Tatler CEng FIMechE FRAeS and RohanThotabaduge RIBA.
