Thrifty shades of registration – eBook trilogy completed

Published: 08/01/2013

The launch of a CEng eBook, now available on the Engineering Council’s website, marks the completion of the organisation’s ‘guide to professional registration’ eBook trilogy.  This follows the successful introduction of EngTech and IEng eBooks during 2012.  All three eBooks are easy to read on mobile devices or online and provide a cost effective, complete guide for anyone interested in learning more about professional registration at a particular level.  The informative new CEng eBook is available to download for free from the Engineering Council’s website, at: www.engc.org.uk/ebook-ceng

The latest eBook has been developed to assist in raising awareness and understanding of the value of CEng registration.  It explains in a clear and concise manner the benefits, why eligible individuals should aim to become CEng registered and how to go about it. Four existing Chartered Engineers explain, through case studies, how professional registration has helped their careers and others provide testimonials.  There is also a page answering FAQs and a list of useful weblinks.

Jon Prichard, CEO of the Engineering Council says: “The existing eBooks have already proved popular with those wishing to learn more about professional registration.  We are sure that the CEng eBook will be just as useful for individuals, employers and the Professional Engineering Institutions”.
