Who can apply for EUR ING Registration? −

Anyone who is registered as a Chartered Engineer in the UK can apply for EUR ING registration through the Engineering Council. Different routes to registration may apply if you do not hold a FEANI EEED (formerly FEANI INDEX) engineering degree or if you hold a non-engineering academic qualification; please see FEANI's Guide for more information. If you have a professional qualification awarded in another European country you should contact the FEANI National Member for that country for information about how to apply. I have completed my EUR ING application form. Where should I send it? −

The completed form and application fee should be sent to the professional engineering institution through which you are registered as a Chartered Engineer.

I want to apply for EUR ING but I am not a member of one of the professional engineering institutions. What should I do? −

To apply for EUR ING in the UK you will need to be a member of one of the professional engineering institutions and registered as a Chartered Engineer.

The Engineering Council will invite you to renew your registration every five years. There is a small charge for this, payable at the time of renewal. The current fees for renewal can be found on our Registration Fees page.

The Engineering Council will invite you to re-register every five years. There is a small charge for this, payable at the time of renewal. The current fees for renewal can be found on our Registration Fees page.

How can I renew my EUR ING registration? −

The Engineering Council will send you renewal details when you are due to renew. Renewals are managed directly by the Engineering Council.
